| The final games of the season are approaching and we need to get hot to get a number 1 seed. All the games before this upcoming group of games has been marked by playing weak teams that we should win, and increadible teams that are top 5. This next group is different because we play two teams that are about even with us in Virg, and Coastal Car., a team a notch above us in GA, and one team that is average in Clemson. This will be a big end of the season run! Cheer on the Jackets. To get a number one seed I am thinking we need to finish 10-3 at least maybe 11-2. I think 10-3 is possible, but most likley we will finish 6-4, which will still give us a 2 seed most likley.

| Well TH we got off to a good start. We need to sweep Wake and Clemson.. Take 2of-3 from GA, VA and Coastal to make the 1 seed. Anything less and we will be a 2 or possible 3 if we go 500. Anything less then 500 ball and me may get left out. I doubt that will happen, but we have not played the best ball lately. Well let me temper that by saying we only played the top 3 teams in the nation the last month so that has a lot to do with it. Damn the ACC is stacked at the top..... | |

Dissapointing lose. This will hurt. To many unearned runs today. Coastal Car series is important. They have a very solid team, and have been ranked basically all year. We might even meet them in the NCAA touney.

| Jackets have Coastal this weekend for a three game series starting today. We have to take two to keep ourselves in the running for hosting a regional. Losing here is not going to do us much good. Hope the bats warm back up after Sunday's performace. Still for the life of me do not know why we did not use Deck on Sunday. Randy Carroll sure thought we would and that man knows Tech baseball.

| We won the series against Coastal Carolina which was huge. Now we just need to beat the Dawgs one more time to take that series this year. Bats have heated back up and the long ball is making a nice come back. Plagman and Dietrech are in a battle for the ACC homerun king. | |

| Just need to take the series from Virginia and I think you will see us host a regional. I don't think we will host a super, but if we take the series from VA and beat the Dogs at Turner today we should be in real good shape. Go Jackets. | |

| A win today at Turner field = a season sweep of in-state rivals. we are 11-0 on the season, now we just need 1 more. Deck has been incredible this year so with him pitching we are going to be tough to beat today. THWG! | |

| We had every chance in the world to win this one. Closer came in and did a hell of a job for UGA. WE still one the series and if we sweep VA we will have an outside chance to host. | |

| The loss to Virg hurt. They outplayed us and our hitting has really cooled off. We will go no where if we can't hit better than this. Virg had 9 hits and 4 were bunt singles. BTW are we the only 3 who post on this board. Kind of weird, it is like our own personal board , but it is lonley ! | |

| What a fantastic game today. Down 7-3 in the top of the 8th, we put together a 5 run 8th inning to take the lead, only to lose it back 9-8 in the bottom of the 8th. (NC State player Foschi thrown out at home to end the inning after 2 runs scored. He didn't slide and then got thrown out of the game) Top of the 9th, we got two more runs and took back the lead at 10-9. Brad Rulon came in got the first two out. Hit a batter in the back and then walked the next guy. He made up for it by covering first well to get the last out. Great game and a good win. Lets hope the bats stay hot for tomorrows tango with miami. | |

Great win indeed! As long as we win 1 out of the next 2 we deserve to host. Teams ranked between (RPI) 4-35, we are 7-3. Top 15 RPI teams we are 5-2. No way should we be stuck in the UGA region.
